NunaBio’s win in the Accelerating Innovation category recognises our pioneering work in custom DNA manufacture using technology that is capable of producing high-purity, complex DNA at scale, both faster and more sustainably than traditional methods.

This recognition is especially significant as the CPHI Awards are among the most prestigious in the pharmaceutical and biotechnology sector. Each year, they highlight the companies and individuals making the biggest impact on the future of healthcare and innovation. To be named a finalist in two categories reflects both the strength of our technology and the commitment of our team to transforming DNA synthesis.

The Start-up Initiative category celebrates emerging companies with the potential to reshape the industry, while Accelerating Innovation recognises breakthroughs that push the boundaries of science and technology. NunaBio Wins Innovation of the Year at the Pharma Industry Awards 2025

We’re proud to share that NunaBio has won Innovation of the Year at the Pharma Industry Awards UK, held in London—one of the most competitive categories of the evening, with seven outstanding finalists.

This award recognises the development of our micro foundry platform (NB-3), a breakthrough in scalable DNA manufacturing. NB-3 enables the rapid, high-fidelity production of synthetic DNA at scale, unlocking new possibilities for research, therapeutics, and diagnostics. It’s a platform built not just on scientific ingenuity, but on collaboration.

A key part of this success was our partnership with BNC Engineering, who designed and built the hardware that powers NB-3. Their engineering excellence helped transform our vision into a robust, scalable reality.
