Jacob Moresco is Investment Director at Sunstone.

Jacob Moresco is Investment Director at Sunstone. He joined the team in 2019 and is part of the team expanding the latest fund (Fund IV) as well as providing input on business development, business analytics and science.

This is Jacob’s second tenure at Sunstone. From 2010-2014 as Scientific Associate, he was responsible for deal flow management and supported or led the due diligence of many of the new investments in Fund III.

Between 2015-2019 Jacob held different positions within Business Development, R&D Strategy and Alliance Management at LEO Pharma. Jacob was involved in several types of deal structures, including LEO Pharma’s Option deal with PellePham Inc.

Jacob holds a master’s degree in Civil Biotech Engineering and a PhD in Microfluidics/Lab On a Chip – both from the Technical University of Denmark.

Jacob has published 8 peer-reviewed scientific publications.
